An exciting opportunity with an ATTRACTIVE SALARY in the HORTICULTURAL / AGRICULTURAL sector.

Primary Duties:
n
n
Managing the day-to-day farming operations (planting, spraying, harvesting)
n
Co-ordinating and carrying out all planting and harvesting activities
n
Manage irrigation and paddock preparation
n
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all farm equipment, infrastructure, and facilities
n
Oversee harvesting, post-harvest handling, packaging and dispatch of produce (ready for markets)
n
Supervise and mentor farm staff
n
Potential prospect to work with the stock
n
Ability to understand and operate various types of agri-machinery
n




Coordinate the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations and industry standards
n
Deliver product to markets
n
n
To be successful in the role, you will have:
n
n
Minimum 3 years' farm management or supervisory experience in agriculture / horticulture.
n
Minimum MR License (HR preferred)
n
Chemcert Certificate
n
Tractor Experience
n
Agriculture and Horticulture experience
n
Livestock handling experience is advantageous
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
