Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Boilermaker (HME) to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Maintenance team and reporting directly to the HME Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Effectively and efficiently operating and monitoring equipment to facilitate achievement of plans and targets.
n
Participate and contribute to our proactive safety culture.
n
Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
n
Achieve targets in a timely manner.
n
Identify, assess and control workplace hazards.
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Relevant Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker
n
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an open-cut coal mine
n
Ability to work effectively with a multifaceted team of contractors and site personnel.
n
Excellent interpersonal, cooperative, and facilitation skills when interacting with various levels of management, external bodies, and agencies.
n




Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston
n
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a team setting
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
Relevant experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
n
