Description Full-Time Veterinary Nurse – Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery is looking for a passionate and experienced Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team!
We're looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse who is compassionate, confident and enjoys providing high-quality patient care while working as part of a supportive team.
About the role This is a varied and rewarding role within a busy, professional veterinary practice.
You'll work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team to provide excellent care to our patients and their families.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality nursing and inpatient care Surgical preparation and anaesthetic monitoring Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures and treatments Administering medications and treatments Pathology, IV catheter placement and fluid therapy Dental and general nursing duties Patient monitoring and recovery Client communication, education and discharge Maintaining accurate patient records and high standards of hygiene We're looking for someone who takes pride in their nursing skills, is comfortable working in a busy environment and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of both patients and clients.
About you You will ideally be: Certificate IV qualified in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) Experienced and confident in clinical nursing and anaesthesia Compassionate, reliable and professional A strong communicator and team player Organised, proactive and able to work independently Passionate about patient care and continued professional development What we offer At Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery, we value our people as much as our patients.
