The Role As a Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist, you will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive O G services to a diverse and growing regional population.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological presentations Caring for routine and complex pregnancies Providing antenatal and postnatal care Conducting specialist outpatient clinics Performing operative gynaecological procedures Managing emergency O G presentations Coordinating care for women with complex pregnancies Working collaboratively with other medical, nursing and allied health teams Contributing to high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care Supporting the continued development of Women's Health services Teaching, Leadership Professional Development This is a RANZCOG-accredited training service , making the position particularly attractive to Consultants who enjoy education, supervision and developing junior doctors.
You will have opportunities to:



Supervise and mentor O G Registrars Teach junior medical officers and medical students Contribute to RANZCOG training and education Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement Contribute to risk management initiatives Assist with departmental policy and service development Participate in research Support continuing medical education There is genuine scope to contribute beyond clinical practice and help shape the future direction of Women's Health services.

About You To be considered, you will have: Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) , or equivalent specialist qualifications Specialist registration with AHPRA , or eligibility to obtain specialist registration Broad Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics Gynaecology Robust clinical and communication skills Commitment to patient-centred care Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team An interest in teaching, education and service development Internationally trained Obstetricians Gynaecologists are encouraged to enquire , subject to eligibility for specialist recognition and AHPRA registration.
