Part-time position To commence January **** In office accommodation included We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join Ballarat Grammar as an Assistant Head of Boarding House, responsible for creating a safe, supportive and vibrant home-away-from-home for boarding students.
This key role supports with the day-to-day operations of the House, provides exceptional pastoral care, and supports a dedicated team of boarding staff.
Working closely with students, families and colleagues, you will foster a positive boarding culture that supports wellbeing, personal growth and student success.
The Boarding Community at Ballarat Grammar is comprised of five Boarding Houses and over 250 boarding students ranging from Years 7 – 12.
Each House has a residential Head of House and Assistant Head of House.
There are also other non-residential support staff engaged to assist students.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Experience working with young people, with a focus on supporting their wellbeing.
Experience working within a School Boarding House environment.
Ability to navigate and apply sound reasoning to complex and diverse issues.
Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
A proven ability to work effectively, constructively and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to display compassion, patience and flexibility.
