Part Time Permanent role Kemps Creek Location Job Duties/Essential Functions Loading and unloading of trailers/trucks Unload containers and use a clamp to break down the pallets RF Scanning Wrapping and unwrapping the pallets Operating an electric pallet jack to move pallets of received and sorted merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot General upkeep of depot and grounds Other duties as directed Must be able to work on Saturdays Must have warehouse experience and be physically fit Chiller/Cold storage distribution experience is an advantage.
Chiller/Freezer temperature work required (between 5 – 18 degrees) Must be versatile and keen to work in both Ambient Chiller DRY WET and in different departments as per business needs Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery Forklift, EPJ, Computer,
printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio.
Non-Essential functions Assists in other departments where necessary.
Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry-specific skills that candidates should possess): Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Must have a Forklift Licence Knowledge/Skills: Basic Computer Skills Other specific requirements: The successful candidate must undergo a criminal record check as the depot is an approved Biosecurity premise The successful candidate must undergo a drug and alcohol screening
