About the Role
n
As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing a range of electronic products.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Understand main board (PCB) functions, including power management and communication modules
n
Work with Li-ion battery systems, charging circuits, and apply safe handling practices
n
Diagnose and repair components such as drive motors, brush motors, and suction fans
n
Interpret and troubleshoot sensor systems (LDS/LiDAR, infrared, cliff and bump sensors)
n
Identify and resolve common faults and recurring issues
n
Use multimeters and basic diagnostic tools effectively
n
Perform firmware updates and reflashing
n
Conduct functional testing post-repair to ensure quality outcomes
n
Maintain accurate repair logs and update service systems
n
Communicate technical findings clearly to supervisors and support teams
n
Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols and workplace safety standards
n

About You

Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

Certificate or Diploma in:n n
Electronics
n
Mechatronics
n
Electrical Engineering
n

Experience
n
n
Experience repairing:n n
Robotic vacuum cleaners (highly regarded)
n
Home appliances or consumer electronics
