The Company Our client is a leading FMCG organisation currently undergoing a significant ERP transformation, with a major system go-live planned for November.
As part of this transformation, they are strengthening their logistics function to provide additional support through this period of change.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business at an important stage of its transformation and play a key role in ensuring its logistics operations continue to run effectively.
The Role As Logistics Specialist, you will provide hands-on support across inbound freight and import logistics, with a particular focus on managing the increased manual activity created by the ERP implementation.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating inbound freight, container planning, managing freight provider invoices and working closely with freight forwarders and suppliers.
The role will evolve as the transformation progresses, so you will need to be comfortable adapting to changing priorities and taking ownership of a broad range of logistics activities.




The Ideal Candidate We are looking for an experienced logistics skilled with strong inbound freight and import experience, ideally with a background in container planning and freight provider management.
You will have strong stakeholder management skills and be confident dealing with freight forwarders, suppliers and internal teams.
Just as importantly, you will be adaptable, organised and comfortable working in an evolving environment where responsibilities and priorities may change.
Experience working through an ERP implementation or business transformation would be highly regarded.
