10 hrs About the Client: Our client is a specialised Australian engineering and maintenance company based in Forrestdale, Western Australia.
The company provides comprehensive end-to-end support, including engineering services, parts supply, maintenance, and heavy asset management, with a particular focus on surface drill and blast rigs operating within the resources and mining sector.
What You Will Need: Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential) Previous experience in a similar role High risk forklift licence (essential) Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screening Experience working on Epiroc/Sandvik equipment (preferable) Dogging/Rigging Ticket (preferable) What You Will Be Doing: Reporting to the Workshop Managers, you will be responsible for the rebuild and assembly of surface drill rigs, including both complete rebuilds and new builds.
This will involve mechanical assembly and the installation of key components to ensure equipment is built to a high standard and ready for operation.
The role will also involve the overhaul, repair, and maintenance of mechanical components, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and equipment reliability.




You will be required to undertake fault finding, troubleshooting, and commissioning to identify and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
You will work collaboratively within a skilled workshop team, supporting other fitters and tradespeople as required to meet project deadlines and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
