We are seeking a motivated
Graduate Marine Engineer
to join our Brisbane-based team and commence their engineering career within a diverse and growing marine organisation.
Working closely with our
Head of Engineering
and Technical Team, this role will provide exposure to a broad range of engineering, maintenance and compliance activities across our fleet and marine operations.
You will gain hand-on experience supporting vessel maintenance programs, technical projects, regulatory compliance and operational initiatives while learning from experienced industry professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to develop their technical capabilities, build industry knowledge and establish a long-term career within the marine sector.

Key responsibilities




Assisting with the planning and scheduling of vessel maintenance and major works
Supporting technical projects, dockings and engineering initiatives across the business
Assisting with compliance activities relating to ISM, ISO, AMSA and Class requirements
Participating in technical audits and maintenance system activities
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
Supporting the delivery of safe and efficient vessel operations across multiple business units
Assisting with reporting and technical documentation requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A recently completed degree in Marine Engineering or a related engineering discipline
A genuine interest in the marine industry and vessel operations
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Flexibility to travel when required
Riverside Marine Holdings has a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol use.
