About the Role
As a
Leading Hand Diesel Fitter
, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team while remaining hands-on with servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, mentoring and supporting Diesel Fitters and service personnel
Coordinating planned maintenance, breakdowns and component replacements
Completing diagnostics, fault-finding and complex repairs




Allocating work and supporting daily maintenance planning
Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule
Promoting high standards of safety, housekeeping and quality workmanship
Supporting continuous improvement and fleet reliability initiatives
Working closely with Supervisors and Operations to achieve maintenance targets
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Australian-recognised
Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle or equivalent trade qualification
Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience in mining or heavy earthmoving
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Proven experience maintaining heavy mobile mining equipment
The ability to lead, coach and develop maintenance personnel
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Current Driver Licence
