The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Sydney team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of Australia's most complex building and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on major developments, defence, health, data centres, mission critical facilities and complex inground services coordination.
Working as part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative civil engineering solutions across all stages of project delivery.
You will be involved in projects that require sophisticated stormwater, drainage and utility design, working closely with clients, contractors and other engineering disciplines to deliver coordinated and practical outcomes.
As part of ACOR's national Civil team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both local and nationally significant projects while continuing to develop your technical capability and professional career.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across major building and infrastructure projects
Prepare and review civil designs, reports, specifications and technical documentation, with a strong focus on drainage and utility infrastructure
Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver integrated project outcomes
Undertake site inspections, investigations and provide technical support throughout project delivery
Build and maintain solid client relationships while contributing to project planning, delivery and business growth initiatives
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
Proven consulting experience delivering civil engineering projects within the built environment sector
Strong technical capability in drainage, stormwater and utility design, including complex inground services coordination
Experience working on major building projects, with data centre, mission critical, health, defence or large commercial project experience highly regarded
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and technical reporting skills
