n Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist ready to take the next step into leadership while continuing to work clinically?
n
An established NDIS-registered allied health provider in North East Melbourne is seeking a Team Lead Speech Pathologist to support and develop its growing Speech Pathology team.
n
This position offers an ideal balance between clinical practice and leadership. The full-time structure includes three clinically focused days and two days dedicated to management and team leadership. Part-time arrangements may also be considered and can be discussed based on your availability.
n
About the Role You will provide evidence-based Speech Pathology services to clients across the lifespan while supporting clinicians through supervision, mentoring and day-to-day leadership.
n
The caseload may include children, adolescents and adults with a variety of communication, swallowing and disability-related needs. Services are delivered through a combination of clinic appointments, community visits and telehealth.
n Your leadership responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to Speech Pathologists
n
Supporting clinicians with complex cases and clinical decision-making
n
Promoting high-quality, evidence-based and client-centred practice
n
Supporting the professional development and wellbeing of the team
n
Contributing to service development and clinical processes
n
Supporting a positive and team-oriented multidisciplinary culture
n
Maintaining a manageable clinical caseload across three days per week
n
n
About You To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
n
n
A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
n
Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
n
Strong clinical experience across Speech Pathology assessment and intervention
n
Previous leadership, supervision or mentoring experience
n
Experience working with NDIS participants
n
Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills
n
A collaborative and supportive leadership style
n
A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
n
n
