A rapidly growing legal-tech business based near Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Associate Lawyer to join its expanding estate administration team.

$80K – $105K + superannuation

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?




As an Associate Lawyer, you will manage probate and estate administration matters while supporting clients through sensitive legal processes with empathy and professionalism.
You will:
Manage probate applications and estate administration matters nationally
Handle grants of probate and letters of administration
Liaise with courts and manage requisitions, particularly within NSW jurisdictions
Conduct client consultations and probate-related calls
Manage matters efficiently within a high-volume, technology-enabled setting
Collaborate closely with operational teams, legal assistants, and internal stakeholders
Contribute ideas and feedback to improve legal workflows and systems
Support clients through both straightforward and increasingly complex estate matters
Minimum 4+ years PQE within wills, estates, and probate law
Strong experience managing probate and estate administration matters
Experience handling NSW probate applications and requisitions
Strong communication and client management capability
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently within high-volume environments
Comfortable using modern legal technology and digital systems
Current Australian practising certificate
Experience within legal tech or startup environments
Exposure to estate planning and testamentary trusts
Desire to grow within a non-traditional legal business model
