Giraffe Early Learning Centre Warringah is a Childcare Centre licensed for 150 children, providing a welcoming, protected and high-quality care environment for children birth to school age. We are looking for a cook who will provide high-quality meals to our children and join our supportive team.

This is a outstanding prospect for someone who is passionate about cooking nutritious meals for children. We are looking for a friendly and talented cook to join our team If you have experience cooking for children aged 0 to 6 years in a child care centre we would love to hear from you.

Meals that need to be prepared include the following:

Morning & afternoon tea

Lunch
n
Food safety and handling qualifications
n




A minimum Certificate in Commercial Cookery
n
A current Working With Children Check
n
Experience cooking in childcare centres
n
Effectively manage the kitchen, order stock, plan all menu's and prepare nutritious meals for the week from scratch.
n
Sound understanding of allergies and preparing alternative meals
n
Creative ideas around cooking for children!
