The role
Reporting directly into the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for leading and managing the financial planning and analysis function of the organisation overseeing reporting, costing, sustainability and major projects.
Build deep understanding of the organisations business, funding model, and cost drivers to support financial sustainability.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and costing processes in collaboration with the Board, CEO, Executive Team, and senior managers.
Oversee financial input for major projects, from initial modelling to integration into BAU processes.
Review financial sustainability initiatives, identify efficiency improvements, and assess business cases for CFO approval.
Prepare reports and budget papers for Board sub-committees.
Manage and develop staff, monitor workloads, address performance issues, and support career development.
Foster positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
The Ideal Candidate
CA/CPA qualified
Previous experience working in large & complex organisations
Comfortable delivering change in a fast paced and growing organisation
Previous experience managing staff is essential
Excellent communication skills & ability to business partner to executive leaders
