An exciting opportunityisnow open for a Truck Driver /Trades Assistant to join our Mackay team performing a variety of duties including deliveries and pickups, along with carrying out workshop/stores duties when required. The ideal candidate will be a safety consciousHeavy Ridged (HR) Truck Driverwith a willingness to carrying out manual tasks in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
n

Safe operation of HR Truck.
n
Perform routine Inspections of Truck and Trailer.
n
Maintain a customer centric courteous attitude.
n
General labouring.
n
Carry out manual tasks in a workshop environment.
n
Assist stores staff when required.
n
n

Skills and Experience:
n
n
HR Truck Licence (essential).
n
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and chain of responsibility obligations.
n
Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment.
n
Ability to work effectively and efficiently without supervision.
n
Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
n
Team player.
n
Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol pre-employment medical.
