An exciting opportunity has arrived on the Sunshine Coast — Notre Dame College OSHC in Bells Creek is a brand new service, and we're looking for enthusiastic and caring casual Educators to help us build something truly special from the ground up.
Located within the grounds of a brand new school, our service offers a dedicated OSHC space close to key school facilities and a playground, providing before and after school care for up to 60 children. A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator...
No two days are the same at Notre Dame College OSHC! You'll play a key role in creating a positive and engaging experience for children before and after school. Your day may include:
Providing warm, nurturing care for children across before and after school care
Creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
Designing and delivering fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members
Working collaboratively within the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
Joining exciting excursions and special events during vacation care
Feeling proud to come to work knowing you're making a real difference in children's lives every day
Job Requirements
Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)




Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
Some experience in the education and care of children is preferred
Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
CompletionofChild Safety Courses 1 & 2(mandatory);Courses 3 & 4highly regarded.
