Job Description
Are you an experienced Diesel Fitter with strong leadership skills and a passion for keeping heavy machinery, trucks & trailers running at its best? Osborne Group are looking for a hands‐on Diesel Mechanic to join our Caboolture-based heavy haulage and plant machinery company.

This is a full-time role overseeing our workshop operations, ensuring our fleet and plant equipment are maintained to the highest standard.

About the Role
n
As our Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Performing diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy haulage trucks, trailers, and plant machinery
n
Scheduling and coordinating maintenance tasks
n
Ensuring workshop safety, efficiency, and compliance
n
Managing parts, tooling, and inventory
n
Liaising with management and drivers to minimise downtime
n
Maintaining service records and job documentation
n
n
To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
n
Experience with heavy haulage and plant machinery
n
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
n
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
n
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
n
