Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Co-ordinator (Electrical) to play a key role in the safe and efficient management of electrical maintenance activities supporting our Slag Handling Granulator operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional with strong planning and leadership skills to influence asset performance, improve reliability and work closely with operations teams and specialist contractors in a dynamic industrial setting.

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering maintenance strategies that maximise plant performance, ensure compliance, and support safe operations.
n
You will oversee the planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance activities while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Maintenance Planning & Execution
n
n
Scope and develop corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
n
Create safe and effective work instructions.
n
Schedule and coordinate internal and external resources.
n
Supervise maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.
n
Manage maintenance costs and optimise expenditure.
n
Ensure critical spares and components are available and fit for purpose.
n
Deliver maintenance plans in line with agreed asset strategies.
n

Contractor Management
n
n
Coordinate specialist contractors, electrical service providers and technical teams.
n
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with scope requirements.
n
Contribute to the development and review of maintenance strategies.
n
Maintain accurate equipment and asset master data.
n
Develop and implement electrical isolation procedures.
n
Ensure compliance with process safety requirements.
n
Identify and implement opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
n

Team Support & Development
n
n
Provide coaching and mentoring to electrical and operational personnel.
n
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team.
n
n
Safety & Compliance
n
n
Maintain strict compliance with Australian electrical standards and site safety systems.
n
Champion safe work practices and electrical isolation requirements.
n
Support a solid safety culture across all maintenance activities.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Qualifications
n
n
Australian Electrical Trade Certificate and Electrical Licence or
n
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
n
Full Australian working rights.
n
White Card.
n
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical.
n

Experience
n
n
Heavy manufacturing;
n
Mining;
n
Proficiency with PLC systems, automation hardware and computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as SAP.
n
Strong maintenance planning and coordination capability.
n
Knowledge of asset management and reliability principles.
n
Experience managing contractors and external service providers.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.
