Communicate complex technical information clearly to internal teams and stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or equivalent
7+ years' experience in mechatronics, controls engineering, or automation
Control system programming experience including function blocks, PID loops, and state machines — CODESYS preferred, but experience with other PLC programming environments is acceptable
Demonstrated experience programming motion systems, digital and analog I/O, pneumatics, and optical systems
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus, OPC‐UA)
Electrical component selection: I/O modules,

motor drives, motion stages, and related hardware
Pneumatic component selection: digital regulators, solenoids, sensors, and related hardware
Sensor specification and selection across pneumatic, presence, force, and vision domains
Working proficiency with CAD — capable of producing functional models without needing to be a CAD specialist
Experience managing interfaces between control systems and adjacent layers, including Syenta's data software stack
Experience commissioning and troubleshooting complex electromechanical equipment
Strong problem‐solving, initiative, and communication skills
Experience in semiconductor equipment, precision manufacturing, robotics, or industrial automation is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PCB design (KiCAD preferred)
Experience with high‐growth or startup environments
