About the Role
We are looking for an adaptable and energetic experienced Charge NurseManager for a permanent 1FTE position located in a rural setting, Murchison.
Theposition is 8 hours shifts worked Monday to Friday between *********.
You will also be required to be part of the staffing for the out of hours on-call PRIME roster with the other nursing andGP team.
Therefore, current PRIMEcertification is essential for thisposition.Applicantswith previous PRIME experience will be offered support to update their qualification so should also apply.

AbouttheTeam/Service/Location
Murchison is arural service town, with a permanent population of approximately ****, locatedhalf- way between Nelson and Westport (1.5 hours travel in either direction).
During the summer Murchison becomes a destination for holiday makers seekingthe great outdoors.
Activities on offer include outstanding fishing, rafting,walking, white water kayaking, jet boating and mountain biking.




Murchison Hospital& Health Centre is a small integrated rural health service providing a raftof health services including emergency medical and accident services 24/7,general primary care practice, and elderly residential care extending topalliative and respite care when needed.
About you
We are looking for anexperienced,enthusiastic,motivated, and culturally competent nurse leader.
You will haveadvanced clinical knowledge and expertise, PRIME certification is desired and soundappreciation of the details in managing staff and coordinating resources in anenvironment that is sometimes pressured.
Of particular focus will befamily-centred, culturally appropriate and safe care delivery, with a strong emphasison quality improvement.
You will have a strong record oftransformational leadership, clinical mentorship, effective change managementand a commitment to excellence in patient care.
You will be part of an effective senior nursing teamdeveloping and leading models of care, process, policy, and guidelines relatingto this client group.
