A salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour

We are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic and experienced ICU nurses to provide expert nursing care to complex patients for the 19 bed ICU unit.

n

As a Registered Nurse ICU your responsibilities will include:

n

n
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
n
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
n
Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
n
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
n
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
n

The hospital has 277 beds and is a high-acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney's Bella Vista.

Qualifications and Experience

n

n
You Recent Clinical experience in an ICU unit Bachelor of Nursing
n
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA and Australian Working Rights Post Graduate Certificate in ICU or working towards (desirable)
n
Current ALS qualifications (desirable) Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
n
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused Working with Children check
n
Desirable Criteria: Ventilator skills in the intensive care setting
