Gather by Cater Care is seeking a motivated Commis Chef / Demi Chef to join our team at International House Kitchen, Parkville. Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students while developing your skills in a busy education catering setting.

Monday: 9:30am - 5:30pm
n
Tuesday & Thursday: 6:30am - 3:00pm
n
Friday: 2:00pm - 7:00pm
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals including bulk cooking
n
Support Senior Chefs with daily kitchen operations
n
Assist with food preparation, service and general kitchen duties
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
n




Deliver quality food service in a busy catering setting
n

About You

n

n
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or similar role
n
School or large-scale catering experience is highly regarded
n
Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
n
Reliable, organised and able to work effectively in a team
n

n

All successful candidates will be required to satisfy a Working With Children Check.
