Our client is looking to bring on reliable, hands-on fitters ready to hit the ground running on breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n




Reactive breakdown maintenance and fault-finding on plant and equipment
n
Scheduled/preventative
maintenance in line with PM programs
n
Pump, gearbox, conveyor, and bearing repairs and replacements
n
Precision alignment using laser or dial indicator methods
n
Root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures
n
Reading and working from mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics
n
Fabrication and modification of mechanical components as required
n
Working within a CMMS (e.g. SAP, Maximo, or similar) to log work orders
n
Participating in shutdowns and planned outages
n
Liaising with electricians, operators, and other trades
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner (essential)
n
Solid breakdown and reactive maintenance experience
n
Drivers Licence
n
EWP ticket (highly regarded)
n
Working at Heights ticket (highly regarded)
n
Confined Spaces ticket (highly regarded)
n
Forklift/Telehandler
ticket (highly regarded)
n
Rigging/Dogging tickets (highly beneficial)
n
n
Ideal Background
n
You might have worked in industrial plants, water treatment facilities, mining, manufacturing, or processing environments, with hands-on breakdown and preventative maintenance experience – if that sounds like you, we want to talk.
