We are a well-established boutique accounting firm seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our friendly and professional team two days per week. This is a great prospect for a motivated bookkeeper who enjoys working closely with clients and being part of a supportive practice environment.

The Role
n
You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients while supporting our accountants with accurate and timely financial records.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Bank and credit card reconciliations
n
Accounts payable and receivable processing
n
Payroll processing and superannuation payments
n
Preparation of BAS and IAS
n
Maintaining client bookkeeping files and records
n
Liaising with clients to resolve queries
n
Assisting accountants with year-end preparation
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Minimum 3+ years bookkeeping experience
n
Experience working within an accounting firm or public practice (preferred)
n
Strong working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
n
Experience preparing BAS/IAS
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Strong communication and client relationship skills
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
n
