Corporate Accountant

Join a well-known global brand in a high-impact Corporate Accountant role, where you'll take ownership across group reporting, tax, and compliance in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a CA or CPA qualified skilled looking to step into a broad, commercially focused role with exposure to consolidation, tax, and financial reporting at a group level.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Prepare income tax returns and disclosures, ensuring full compliance with Australian and New Zealand tax regulations
n
Assist with transfer pricing documentation and review calculations in line with regulatory standards
n
Manage tax effect accounting, including provisions, deferred tax, and quarterly reporting
n
Prepare BAS and GST reporting, including apportionment analysis
n
Lead the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements, including ESG reporting and disclosures
n
Provide insightful P&L; analysis and variance commentary
n




Support forecasting and annual budgeting processes
n
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up outstanding items
n
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and assist in resolving audit queries
n
Contribute to internal controls, process improvements, and system enhancements
n
Supervise an Assistant Accountant and support their development
n
Assist with ad-hoc finance projects as required
n
n
About You:
n
n
CA or CPA qualified (essential)
n
Strong experience in group consolidation, tax, and GST
n
Background in a large or multinational environment preferred
n
Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful financial insights
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
n
