DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Supervisor to join this government department, based in Cairns. This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified electrical professional with strong leadership capabilities to oversee electrical maintenance and construction activities across a diverse portfolio of government assets.

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead, supervise and coordinate electrical trades teams and contractors.
n
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with relevant legislation, standards and policies.
n
Provide technical advice and support on electrical maintenance and construction projects.
n
Supervising the delivery of engineering products at local level ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and practices
n
Monitor project delivery, quality, budgets and timeframes.
n
Effective management of resources such as plant and equipment, depots and motor vehicles.
n
Plan and deliver a range of engineering services to clients and sub contractors
n
Foster strong stakeholder relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
n
Promote a positive safety culture and ensure adherence to WHS requirements.
n

About You
n
n
Electrical Trade Qualification with current electrical licence.
n
Demonstrated experience supervising electrical maintenance or construction teams.
n
Solid knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety requirements.
n
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Experience within government, infrastructure, facilities management, mining or industrial environments will be highly regarded.
