J Group is seeking an experienced and reliable Civil Plant Operator to join our growing team. We deliver a range of civil infrastructure projects across NSW and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, operates safely, and consistently delivers high-quality workmanship.

About the Role
n
n
Operate a range of civil plant including excavators, skid steers, rollers, loaders and other machinery.
n
Undertake bulk earthworks, drainage, trenching and general civil construction works.
n
Carry out final trim to design levels using GPS and/or laser systems.
n
Read and interpret construction drawings and set-out information.
n
Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic plant maintenance.
n
Work safely in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience operating civil plant.
n




Demonstrated experience in GPS final trim and achieving design tolerances.
n
Proven experience in bulk earthworks, subdivisions, roadworks and drainage.
n
Current White Card.
n
Current Driver Licence (HR licence highly regarded).
n
Relevant plant competencies and tickets.
n
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
n
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience with Topcon, Trimble or Leica machine control systems.
n
Pipe laying and detailed excavation experience.
n
Roller, loader and skid steer tickets.
n
Confined Space, Working at Heights and First Aid certifications.
n
n
