Join the dynamic warehouse team at Remington Steel as a full time Storesperson. Based in Derrimut Victoria. This hands-on role will see you be part of an operational team that will be supportive, driving customer service across Victoria

What you'll be doing

n
Receiving, picking, and packing goods that require manual strapping and packing.
n
Dispatching of orders, which includes loading trucks.
n
Liaising effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
n
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and products
n
Sort, organise, and store materials and products in designated areas according to established procedures
n
Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting stocktakes and cycle counts as required.
n
Assist in the preparation of outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and loading goods
n
Manage all associated paperwork.
n
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a protected work workplace
n
Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimise workflow and improve efficiency.
n
General Housekeeping when required.
n





What we're looking for

n
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
n
Dedicated approach to customer requirements and overall service delivery.
n
Ability to work autonomously
n
Operational experience in Steel
n
Operation of industrial trucks, forklift licence and experience with overhead cranes, moving industrial materials at varying heights.
n
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
n
Good communication and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to work together to achieve our desired business outcomes.
