Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX listed financial services organisation to find a Citrix Engineer to work on an AWS migration. The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands-on Citrix Engineer with experience in master image creation and deployment. You will ideally have had some exposure to cloud platforms Azure/AWS/GCP but it isn't essential for the role.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements
n
Extensive experience engineering and supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) or Citrix DaaS environments, with strong knowledge of Citrix infrastructure, policies, provisioning, and performance optimisation.
n
Proven experience creating, maintaining, and optimising Citrix master images (golden images), with the ability to package, test, and deploy images into cloud-hosted environments.

Experience deploying and managing Citrix workloads in the cloud, with exposure to AWS preferred, and Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) also highly regarded.
n
Strong VMware administration skills, including experience with vSphere, ESXi, virtual machine lifecycle management, and virtual infrastructure supporting enterprise Citrix environments.
n
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms to proactively manage infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform availability and performance.

Strong troubleshooting, automation, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments and support both project delivery and BAU operations.
