About the Role
n
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse 2IC to join our team in a quick-paced food distribution environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance staff supervision, operational efficiency, and step up as Acting Warehouse Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and support the team in daily warehouse operations.
n
Act as 2IC, stepping up as Warehouse Manager when required.
n
Liaise with Sales, Customer Service and Transport for smooth communication.
n
Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive workplace culture.
n
Assist the Operations Manager with safety, compliance, and productivity.
n
Support stock control: cycle counts, stocktakes, and adjustments.
n
Ensure accurate picking and dispatch using the WMS.
n

About You
n
n
Experience in warehouse/distribution (food industry preferred).
n
Valid forklift licence and proven forklift operating experience.
n
Strong leadership skills to supervise, motivate and develop staff.
n
Excellent communication and cross-department liaison skills.
n
Knowledge of warehouse processes, safety standards, and WMS.
n
Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable in a rapid-paced environment.
