A leading Sydney-based university is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join a high-performing Procurement Services team on a long-term contract through to March 2027. This is an excellent chance for someone with procurement operations, purchasing, transactional procurement, procurement support, or procurement administration experience within a large and complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
Process procurement and transactional purchasing activities accurately and efficiently
n
Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding procurement processes and systems
n
Manage supplier and stakeholder enquiries while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements
n
Support reporting, documentation management, data integrity,



and process improvement initiatives
n
Assist with operational procurement activities across a high-volume environment
n
Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain service delivery standards and compliance obligations
n

n

About You:

n

n
Experience within procurement, purchasing, vendor management, procurement operations, or transactional services
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately
n
Experience working within large, complex, or highly regulated environments
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
n
Comfortable working with procurement systems, CRMs, ERP platforms, or finance systems
n
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and governance requirements
n
Higher education or government experience is highly regarded
n
