We're looking for an experienced
Maintenance Plasterer & Painter
to join our growing property maintenance team.
This role is ideal for someone who can take a repair
from damage through to a finished result
— assessing the issue, completing the plaster repair, preparing the area and finishing it with quality painting work.
You'll be working across residential properties throughout Melbourne, completing everything from small patches and touch‐ups through to larger ceiling and wall repairs, make‐good works and full‐room painting.
We need someone who is
reliable, organised, confident working independently and takes genuine pride in leaving a quality finished product.

Protecting floors, furniture and surrounding areas before commencing work

Excellent plaster finishing and preparation skills
Strong painting and finishing ability
Confidence completing a repair from initial preparation through to final paint

Strong attention to detail
Good fault‐finding and problem‐solving ability
Confidence working independently
Valuable communication and customer service skills
Strong time management and organisation

A professional, reliable and positive attitude
Experience working in
rental properties, real estate maintenance, insurance repairs, renovations or facilities maintenance
will be highly regarded.
The Person We Want
We're looking for someone who takes ownership of the

entire finished result
, not someone who considers the job finished once the hole has been patched.
When you leave a property, we want the customer to look at the repair and struggle to tell there was ever damage there in the first place.
You'll suit this role if you:
Take genuine pride in your finishing work
Have robust plastering
and
painting skills
Can assess damage and determine the best repair method
Understand the importance of preparation
Work cleanly and respect occupied homes
Can work independently without constant supervision
Take ownership of your jobs from start to finish
Communicate when something changes or additional work is required
Can manage multiple maintenance jobs throughout the day
Enjoy variety rather than working on the same construction site every day
Want to be part of a growing company where good tradespeople can progress
What We Offer
Full-time, secure employment
Competitive salary/package based on experience
Company vehicle and fuel
Consistent Monday- Friday work
Variety of plastering, painting and maintenance work
Strong office and scheduling support
Established systems and processes
Opportunity to develop into senior or supervisory positions
A growing business with opportunities for people who want to progress
Why Join Us?
We're building a maintenance business focused on
quality workmanship, strong communication and getting the job completed properly from start to finish
.
Having tradespeople who can complete multiple stages of a repair is a big part of that.
Rather than sending one person to patch a wall and another person back to paint it, we want capable tradespeople who can
take ownership of the repair and deliver the finished product
.
If you're an experienced
plasterer and painter
who enjoys maintenance work, problem‐solving and having variety in your day, we'd like to hear from you.
