We're partnering with a well-established Australian business operating within the trade, building products and home improvement sector to appoint an experienced Store Manager for an established operation within Brisbane's southern industrial corridor.
This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the business.
Successful leaders in this environment are visible on the floor, enjoy supporting customers, coaching team members and creating a positive, high-performing store culture.
We're particularly interested in speaking with experienced retail, showroom or trade store leaders from building products, home improvement, hardware, plumbing, electrical or similar customer-facing environments.
The Opportunity Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of store performance across sales, profitability, customer experience and team development.
You'll lead from the front, working closely with both trade and retail customers while building a strong, engaged and accountable team culture.
Key Responsibilities Lead a customer-focused team while supporting sales growth and a positive store experience.
Build strong relationships with trade and retail customers Monitor store performance and support the team in achieving sales and customer service goals.
Ensure the store is well presented,



organised and running smoothly day to day.
Support inventory management and day-to-day store operations Foster a positive, safety-focused and customer-centric culture Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the business About You Previous leadership experience within retail, trade, showroom, branch or customer-facing sales environments Understands what excellent customer service looks like and enjoys motivating teams to achieve results.
A hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead by example Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Experience coaching, mentoring and developing team members High learning agility and the ability to quickly absorb technical product knowledge Takes pride in their store, team and customer experience.
