What you'll be doing:
n
You'll work across diverse South East Queensland landscapes, from coastal corridors to urban bushland, restoring native ecosystems and tackling environmental weeds. Every day is different: you might be planting native species, managing weed infestations, maintaining habitat corridors, or supporting large-scale restoration projects.
n
Our crews start and finish each day at our Stapylton depot, heading out to sites in company vehicles.
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
A strong work ethic and physical fitness for active outdoor work
n
Some knowledge of SEQ native and weed species
n
Experience in weed control techniques, including safe chemical application
n
Practical skills using power tools (e.g. augers, hedge trimmers, brushcutters)
n
White Card (Construction Safety Card)
n
A current driver's licence and reliable transport to get to base
n
A commitment to working safely and protecting the environment
n
Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management (or currently studying)
n
ACDC Licence
n
Chainsaw ticket
n
Manual or MR/HR licence
n
First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
