Job Description
The Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Health Nurse to join our Family Health Unit.
n
This rewarding role supports Aboriginal children and families by delivering culturally protected child health services, including immunisations, child health assessments and health promotion programs. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll help improve health outcomes across Geraldton and surrounding communities.

About the Role
n
As a Child Health Nurse, you will:
n
n
Deliver child health assessments, immusations and primary health care services.
n
Deliver health promotion and education programs for children, families and the community.
n
Work collaboratively with GP's, Midwifes allied health specialists and Aboriginal Health Practitioners.
n
Develop care plans to support vulnerable children and families.
n
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement activities.
n
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Certificate in Child and Community Health Nursing (or equivalent).
n
Experience in child and community health nursing, including immunisation services.
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
n
Current C Class Drivers Licence.
n
Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
n
National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
n
Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally secure services to Aboriginal people.
n
Knowledge of family networks within the Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison regions.
