The role includes but is not limited to:
n
n
Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle or equipment
n
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referencing service manuals as needed
n
Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
n
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns
n
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
n
Complete and maintain service and inspection documentation ensuring its compliance
n
May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
n
May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
n
n
Maintain a tidy work workplace and adhering to health and safety regulations.
n
To be considered for this role, you must have:
n
n
Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipment
n
Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
n
Ability to work well both independently and in a team workplace
n
Strong communication skills
n
Strong diagnostic abilitiesSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
n
Must have great work ethics
n
n
Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
