As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead day-to-day kitchen operations, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-quality food and service standards.

About the Role

n

Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
n
Assist with menu development, rostering, stock control, and ordering
n
Lead service periods and maintain high food quality and presentation standards
n




Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff
n
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
n
Contribute creative ideas and seasonal menu input
n
Assist with functions, events, and catering when required
n

About You

n

n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role
n
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced venues
n
Solid leadership and communication skills
n
Solid understanding of stock control, kitchen costing, and operations
n
Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and quality presentation
n
Ability to perform under pressure and lead by example
n
Relevant culinary qualifications preferred
n
