Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the administrative, financial, and operational functions of our business.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing daily office operations, optimizing business processes, and ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
This position requires a professional with a strong background in accounting and administrative management, capable of overseeing resources, personnel, and office infrastructure to support our trade activities.
Key Responsibilities · Office Operations Service Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning and review of office administrative services.
Set priorities, establish office service standards, and oversee daily operations to ensure high-level efficiency in our fast-paced international trade environment.
· Financial Records Management: Manage the company's office accounts and financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
Maintain robust document filing systems to support international trade compliance and audit requirements.
· Personnel Resource Coordination: Coordinate personnel activities, including training, performance monitoring, and supervision of administrative staff.
Allocate human resources, office space, and specialized equipment effectively to maximize team productivity.
· Compliance Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure all office activities and administrative processes strictly comply with Australian government legislation, company policies, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
· Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a central point of contact, liaising with professionals, external service providers, and business partners to coordinate business activities and resolve operational problems promptly.
· Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance of physical office facilities and equipment to provide a safe and professional workspace.
Job Requirements · Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related business discipline.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven full-time experience as an Office Manager or in a highly responsible administrative role.
· Accounting Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage bookkeeping, accounts, and financial reporting processes.
· Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Australian workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations and administrative compliance.
· Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Technical Skills: High level of proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
· Attributes: Strong organizational skills, leadership ability, problem-solving mindset, and a high level of professional integrity.
What We Offer Remuneration: Highly competitive Base Salary of $83,****** AUD per annum plus statutory Superannuation Guarantee contributions.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time position (38.0 hours per week).
Work Schedule: Standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Environment: A supportive and collaborative work environment located in SA.
