20th August, **** Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant for our client, a WA-owned manufacturer and supplier to the construction and building industry.
This role is based in Perth's north-east suburbs and will commence on a contract basis with a view to permanency within 3 months.
The Role Working as part of the maintenance team, your responsibilities will include: Assisting Mechanical Fitters with repairs and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment Supporting preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime Helping with installation, assembly, and commissioning of machinery and equipment General workshop and maintenance support duties as required Forklift operating duties About You To be successful in this role, you must have: Previous experience as a Mechanical Trade Assistant or similar role Exposure to fixed plant maintenance (highly regarded)
