WELDER / METAL FABRICATOR AARCH PTY LTD – Narromine, NSW Full-Time Position Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + Superannuation AARCH Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team in Narromine, Central West NSW .
AARCH is an Australian manufacturer specialising in the design and fabrication of heavy-duty loader attachments for the agricultural and earthmoving industries.
Our products include loader stick rakes, hay forks, cotton spears, grain buckets, grain pushers, loader hitches, tree pushers and other custom-built attachments.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable tradesperson who takes pride in producing strong, accurate and high-quality fabrication work.
About the Role As a Welder / Metal Fabricator, you will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of heavy-duty steel products and loader attachments.
Your work will include cutting, preparing, welding, assembling and finishing steel components to meet AARCH's quality and durability standards.
This is a full-time, hands-on workshop position based in Narromine, NSW .
Key Responsibilities Fabricate and weld heavy-duty steel components and loader attachments Read and interpret fabrication drawings, measurements and specifications Cut, shape, prepare and assemble steel components Perform MIG and other relevant welding processes Fit and weld components accurately according to specifications Use fabrication equipment, power tools and workshop machinery safely Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy Identify fabrication or welding issues and carry out repairs where required Maintain a clean,



organised and safe workshop environment Follow workplace health and safety procedures Work closely with other fabricators and team members to complete projects efficiently Assist with custom fabrication projects when required Skills Experience To be successful in this role, you should have: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent qualification) with relevant industry experience; or Certificate IV/equivalent qualification At least 2 years of relevant welding and/or metal fabrication experience Strong practical welding and fabrication skills Experience working with structural or heavy steel fabrication Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans Good measuring, cutting, fitting and assembly skills Strong attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good problem-solving skills Valuable understanding of workshop and WHS requirements Physical ability to undertake hands-on fabrication work Experience in agricultural machinery, earthmoving equipment, loader attachments or heavy fabrication will be highly regarded.
