Job Description

The White Lion Hotel is looking for an experienced and reliable hospitality worker who can perform supervisor duties when required.

n

This hands-on role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment, provides excellent customer service and can confidently support and lead the team when needed.

n

This position is a minimum 30 hours a week and can be full time for the right candidate.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
Providing friendly and professional customer service
n
Working across daily bar and bistro operations
n
Performing supervisor duties when required
n
Supporting and guiding staff throughout each shift
n
Assisting with opening and closing procedures
n
Handling cash, tills and end-of-shift reconciliation
n
Maintaining responsible service of alcohol and gaming practices
n
Responding professionally to customer enquiries and concerns
n
Ensuring the venue remains clean,



protected and compliant
n
Assisting with staff training and general venue operations
n

n

The successful applicant will have:

n

n
Experience supervising or leading a team
n
A current RSA certificate
n
A current RSG
n
Solid communication and customer service skills
n
The ability to remain calm and make decisions in a busy environment
n
Availability to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
n
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
n
An Approved Manager or RMLV qualification would be highly regarded.
n
