21st August, **** AAMG is seeking experienced Fixed Plant/Mechanical Fitters to join the Maintenance Team on site.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct planned, preventative and corrective maintenance on washplant and fixed plant equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise equipment downtime.
Perform breakdown maintenance and respond to urgent equipment failures as required.
Complete inspections and identify potential equipment defects or reliability issues.
Replace, repair and overhaul mechanical components including bearings, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, chutes, screens and associated equipment.
Carry out alignment, fitting, assembly and installation of mechanical components.
Perform shutdown maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance plans and schedules.
Assist with plant modifications, upgrades and improvement projects.
Skills Experience Australian recognised Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fixed Plant Fitter or equivalent.
High Risk Work Licence - FL, EWP; CS; W@H Current Standard 11 Coal Board Medical Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing fixed plant equipment within mining,



minerals processing, quarrying or heavy industry.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, screens and other fixed plant equipment.
Strong understanding of planned and preventative maintenance practices.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
