in residential aged-care, operating across Sydney. We are seeking an Accounts Generalist to join our Corporate Office in St Leonards, NSW **** on a permanent full-time basis. The role will be Monday to Friday, within operating office hours
$85,000 p.a.+ super

The work you'll be doing:
End-to-end residential aged care billing processes, including resident fee calculations, government funding and payment processing, and reconciliation of accounts.
Management and resolution of customer billing enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Setup and maintenance of new resident accounts within the accounting and billing system
Accounts payable processing, including invoice verification, coding, and payment runs
Provision of billing and accounts support, guidance, and advice to operational site teams
Processing and reconciliation of all bank transactions across multiple accounts
Month-end close activities, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, POS reporting, preparation of P & L statements, and variance analysis
Reconciliation of corporate credit cards and management of employee expense claims
Maintenance of accurate financial records, including petty cash management, banking activities, and document control processes
Preparation of periodic statutory and regulatory reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Coordination and support of the annual external audit process
Provide comprehensive ad hoc administrative support to the finance function, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
About you:
5 years' experience in general accounting
Aged care experience (advantageous)
Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills
Proficiency in billing systems and strong digital literacy across financial systems and Microsoft Office applications
High attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines
