We are currently seeking a
Foundry Labourer
to join our
Ipswich operations
on a
full-time, permanent basis
, with
regular overtime available
.
About the Role
Working within our
Beforecast team
, you will prepare sand moulds for the casting of molten metal in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role offers:
38-hour week (Monday to Friday)
Consistent overtime opportunities

You will report directly to the
Beforecast Supervisor
and work as part of a skilled, collaborative production team.
Key Responsibilities




Produce moulds and cores using
boxed and boxless moulding techniques (full training provided)
Select appropriate moulding boxes and report equipment defects
Operate
sand mixing machinery
Correct use and maintenance of
PPE and safety equipment
Maintain clean and organised work areas
Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices
You will demonstrate
Safe operation of overhead cranes, forklift and lifting equipment (Desirable but not required)
Solid attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
