About The Role

n

As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides around the City of Port Phillip.

n

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of Knox
n
Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed spraying
n
Safely operating and maintaining machinery
n
Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
n
Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery
n

n

About You

n

n
Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence
n
Ride on Mower experience essential
n
Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
n
Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment
n
Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
n




Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
n
Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
n
Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
n
