The practice provides exceptional and professional veterinary care to pets and their owners. We have a fantastic prospect for an experienced Full Time or Part Time Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 2+ years in a small animal veterinary medicine practice to join our small but enthusiastic team.

The Role
n

Assist our Vets with routine examinations
n
Surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
n
Pre and post operative patient care including grief support to clients
n
Prepare and administers medications as required
n
Admission and discharge of hospital and surgical cases
n
Communicate treatment plans to clients
n
Blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement
n
Assist with x-rays and ultrasounds
n
Assist with dental scale and polish of dental patients
n
Sterilization of instruments according to practice sterilization procedures
n
General day to day nursing duties to support our Vets and working with your team members to ensure the highest patient care
n
General cleaning duties to help make the clinic sparkle
