Help at Hand Support Services is looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who would like to join us and help make a difference to the lives of people with a disability.

Responsibilities
n
You will be providing a person‐centred approach with daily responsibilities that vary according to each client. Activities may include accompanying a client to the beach, a movie, or a game, assisting with medical appointments, and keeping them company at home. The work is exciting, varied, and highly rewarding.

Qualifications
n
n
Own a fully insured and reliable vehicle
n
International police check (if applicable) or current police check within 6 months
n
Cert III in Disability or above, or equivalent experience
n
Current Working with Children check
n
First aid / CPR certificates (current)
n
Full and clean Australian driver's licence
n
Be punctual,



reliable and adaptable
n
Good written and verbal communication skills
n
Empathetic and proactive with a genuine interest in this field
n
Ability to self‐supervise and remain calm and composed during crises
n
Right to live and work in Australia
n
