Techforce is currently seeking experienced Rail Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established rail maintenance team working across Melbourne's rail network.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on a consistent 4 days on, 3 days off night shift roster, offering excellent work-life balance while working on critical rail infrastructure.

The Role As a Rail Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Locomotives and electrical systems across rail infrastructure to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the network.
n
Duties include:
n
n
Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
n
Fault finding and diagnostics
n
Track Grinding
n
Maintenance of signalling support equipment, switchboards, lighting and electrical infrastructure
n
Testing and commissioning of electrical systems
n
Working safely within rail corridors and live operational environments
n




Completing maintenance documentation and reports
n
n
Requirements To be considered, you will have:
n
n
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
n
Previous experience in rail maintenance or heavy industrial maintenance
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Current White Card
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
n
Commitment to safe work practices
n
